Delicately roasted Oregon hazelnuts have been paired with Dick Taylor's exceptional milk chocolate made from earthy Brazilian cacao and old-fashioned, A2/A2 whole milk from Alexandre Family Farm.

By working with one of the only US dairies producing organic, gras-fed, A2/A2 milk, Dick Taylor are able to craft a chocolate that is truly the first of its kind. A2/A2 milk doe snot cause the same discomfort or allergies that other milk does and can often be tolerated by those with lactose intolerance.

This chocolate bar from Hawaii-based Mānoa Chocolate is inspired by the flavors of Hawaii: Passion Fruit (Liliko'i). The bar features vibrant artwork by local artist Shar Tuiasoa of Punky Aloha, and delicate molding inspired by Polynesian tattoo patterns. Together with historical tidbits about each inclusion ingredient, the complete package of flavor, art, and culture create a bar that does more than taste good: this is chocolate with a sense of place.

When the seeds of passion fruit first came to Hawaii from Australia in 1880, they were planted in the East Maui district of Liliko'i and the name stuck. The juice, with its distinct tangy flavor, is a popular ingredient in Hawaiian cuisine, used to make sauce, candy, ice cream, tea, or in cocktails and shaved ice.

Polynesian settlers brought coconut on their long voyage to Hawaii. This fruit is known as a canoe plant - a crop essential for island living. The Hawaiian word for coconut is niu, but the title of this bar Haupia, refers to the popular Hawaiian dessert made using the white meat of the coconut fruit.
