Dark chocolate (65% heirloom cacao, 35% cane sugar), candied Galapagos orange (orange peel, cane sugar), Galapagos sea salt crystals, cacao butter.
The cacao is sourced from the valley of Piedra de Plata on the Ecuadorian Coast. The cane sugar is from Colombia. Sea salt and oranges harvested by hand on Santa Cruz Island, Galápagos. The organic cacao butter is from fine flavor cacao cultivars on the Ecuadorian coast.
“Ximena Jijón was born in Machala, located in the southernmost part of the Ecuadorian coast. Her training is in technological sciences, strategic planning, and law. She started developing a style of textile art as a child under the tutelage of her mother, and she now shares this passion with her own daughter. Her favorite way of expressing herself is through the techniques, shapes, and colors she uses to transform threads into art.
To’ak decided to work with Ximena because of her great talent for bringing textiles to life. When she tasted the Alchemy editions, Galápagos Orange & Salt was among her favorites. We felt that her distinct style would give a mystical expression to this treat from the so-called Enchanted Islands.”
